Paradox: Choices Matter
- Growing up in the inner city of West Baltimore wasn't easy for Montez King. At one point, he was skipping school so often that he didn't know where his locker was or who his teachers were. But when his friends started stealing, he realized this wasn't the life he wanted and chose to enroll in a CTE manufacturing program. Today, as the Executive Director of NIMS and a member of the White House Task Force for Apprenticeship Expansion, Montez's story inspires students and audiences across North America to realize, "If he can do it, we can do it too.”
