Since beginning to collect data about students who are experiencing homelessness, Rock Valley College has seen a significant increase in the number of students who self-identify as having unreliable housing. Whether this has been an undocumented challenge or whether we are seeing aftereffects of Covid, we realized that we needed to work together - across campus and in our community - to improve our support for these vulnerable students.
