The Career Pathways for Targeted Populations Committee of the IWIB in partnership with The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership will lead a virtual WIOA Wednesday Webinar called “A Hire Calling” to catalyze employer awareness and consideration of hiring the formerly incarcerated. The event will feature a panel of Illinois employers who regularly participate in “second chance hiring,” and a video featuring formerly incarcerated men and women contributing to their employers’ success and making a difference in their lives and our communities every day.
