This presentation will enable participants to assist their clients in understanding the obstacles to stable housing, meaningful employment, and educational opportunities that having a criminal record presents. Participants will also learn what constitutes a criminal or juvenile record, how to identify convictions and non-convictions, steps individuals can take to expunge and seal records or obtain employment licenses and certifications, and the options for automatic expungement of cannabis-related offenses.
