Noncredit to Credit Transition: Webinar Series
October 22, 2025: NC–C Transitions: A Framework
This session introduces a practical framework—adapted from national models—for supporting student transitions from noncredit to credit programs. Participants will learn how to locate their college’s current practices along the framework’s continuum of implementation and begin identifying opportunities for growth.
December 3, 2025: NC–C Transitions: Getting onto the Framework via Collaboration
Building on the framework, this session focuses on how to begin the transition process through intentional collaboration. Discussion will center on co-creating pathways, engaging institutional stakeholders, and navigating considerations such as union agreements to ensure collaborative, realistic solutions.
January 28, 2026: NC–C Transitions: Moving Along the Framework via Content Mapping
This session highlights strategies for aligning noncredit and credit curricula through content mapping. Participants will learn how to identify common learning outcomes, prerequisites, and industry credentials that can bridge noncredit training to credit-bearing coursework.
April 8, 2026: NC-C Transitions: Scaling & Institutionalizing the Framework
The final session explores how to embed noncredit-to-credit transitions into institutional structures and cultures. Topics will include governance, departmental alignment, and building organizational practices that sustain and scale NC-C pathways over time.
