This session will provide workforce partners with an overview of SNAP work requirements and how the Illinois workforce system can support individuals who may be affected. The session will cover key concepts, including exemptions, pathways to meet participation expectations, and options for individuals to maintain or regain SNAP eligibility.
The webinar will also highlight available tools and resources, including JobReadyIL.com, a free online learning platform offering flexible training options to help individuals meet participation expectations.
This session is designed for workforce partners and will focus on how to support participants using existing services and referral pathways, while reinforcing that SNAP eligibility and compliance determinations are made by IDHS.
