What is OCR and how does it affect me?

Natasha Allan from the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) will give a brief run through of what the Office for Civil Rights is and how it affects your institutions. She will also provide information on what a Civil Rights Review looks like and answer any questions you may have regarding the process.


On Demand Perkins Support

The Illinois Center for Specialized Professional Support (ICSPS) in coordination with the ICCB, have created engaging videos on the topics of Permissible Uses of Funds, Budget Modifications, and Perkins Overview. Programs will be given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss valuable ways the videos can be used within their institutions.

Unpacking the PAC Meeting

This discussion will be a follow up to the Perkins Administrator’s Cohort (PAC) Meeting and the release of the FY 2020 Perkins Guidelines. Programs will have the opportunity to ask questions, share best practices, and consider possible activities for the upcoming fiscal year.


Last minute troubleshooting for FY 2020 Perkins Plans

This call will allow one last opportunity for programs to discuss any lingering questions or concerns they may have before FY20 Perkins Plan submission the following week.


Benefits of the Advisory Committee Guidebook

The Advisory Committee Guidebook was created by ICSPS in coordination with the ICCB to provide guidance to CTE programs as they work to improve their advisory committees. This call will allow programs time to discuss how they have implemented ideas from the guidebook to enhance their advisory committees, share ideas on other tools that may be beneficial to continue expanding advisory committees, and share any concerns or questions they may have.
