Supporting College Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

As the number of students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) continues to rise, many students with ASD are now graduating from high school and entering higher education classrooms. This presentation was designed to help faculty and staff recognize the characteristics of ASD, discuss what a student with ASD might need in a college classroom or setting and explore strategies to help students be successful.  An archived version of the presentation and the presentation slideshow can be found below.  Additionally all resources mentioned during the webinar can be found at the Autism Training and Technical Assistance Project website at AutismCollegeAndCareer.com
