FY14 New Look: John Wood Community College

The FY14 JWCC New Look Project served to promote career opportunities for women in agriculture and provided support services to non-traditional and economically disadvantaged postsecondary agriculture students. Activities included the promotion of the 2014 Women Changing the Face of Agriculture Conference as well as the sponsorship of conference speakers and other conference-related networking and career exploration activities. The New Look Project also allowed increased student support activities – in the form of academic support and career guidance – to economically disadvantaged students at JWCC’s remotely located Agriculture Center.
