The Technical Assistance:
An important and unique feature of the New Look Project is the advanced technical assistance (TA) provided to sites both during the application period and throughout project implementation. New Look Project technical assistance is more comprehensive than many competitive funding projects. The TA begins as soon as the application period is open with a provision of online and telephone resources, guides sites through revisions that are needed to more fully align the site proposal with New Look Project goals, and continues through the sub-contracting process. Each New Look site is assigned an ICSPS New Look Liaison who spotlights the site activity through a newsletter article or visit, if possible, and continues to provide resources throughout the evaluation and reporting process. Responsive, personalized technical assistance is foundational to the success of the New Look Project.
