We discussed several strategies for keeping students engaged with online courses. This included education students on their responsibility for their learning, their ability to analyze their own learning, their ability to improve their own behaviors, their ability to manage their time, and sources for finding support

What were some important elements or characteristics of the project or instructional strategies?:

Many students take online courses in STEM, including Developmental Math courses. The focus was on strategies for improving student success and retention in these classes to avoid situations where students do not pass simply due to non-participation.
