The presenters demonstrated how they used portfolios to help students be more successful in classes from a variety of subject areas.

What were some important elements or characteristics of the project or instructional strategies?:

We discussed the use of portfolios to help students record and reflect on their learning throughout the semester, set measurable and achievable goals, build connections/relationship between student and teacher. It gave students the opportunity to ask questions privately, as well as held them accountable for demonstrating their own learning.
